KofC French Toast Breakfast
Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council 10685 sponsored a French Toast Breakfast on Saturday, April 4, 2009, from 8:30 to 11:00 am, in the Parish Hall.
Brother Knight Harvey Letterman was the Chairman of the event. Harvey planned the menu, priced the supplies, solicited donations, purchased supplies, organized the manpower and served as chief cook on the morning of the breakfast. Artie Tafoya, a member of Good Shepherd parish, assisted with purchasing the food items and showing Harvey and his crew the workings of the Parish Hall kitchen. The adults of Cub Scout Pack 197, sponsored by Good Shepherd Parish, and Boy Scout Troop 58, sponsored by Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council 10685, helped with selling tickets and serving breakfast.
One hundred sixteen tickets with sold. The Knights of Columbus Council 10685 donated the profits from the breakfast to Cub Scout Pack 197 and Boy Scout Troop 58. Thank you to Harvey and all the Brother Knights who helped make this breakfast a success.

EASTER EGG HUNT - Thank You
Good Shepherd Council 10685 hosted our annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4, 2009 on the Church grounds. Over 250 children attended the event this year. The children were treated to a special visit from the Easter Bunny, as much candy they could gather, and additional prizes for those lucky enough to have collected any of the special eggs.

Thanks to all of our Brothers who assisted the morning of the Hunt. Special thanks to Brothers Steve Schlager and Jeff Palkovic for obtaining all of the candy and prize items for the event. We would not be able to hold these events without the generosity of so many people and businesses.”
