WELCOME
The Knights of Columbus Good Shepherd Council 10685 is dedicated to the service of our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, our Bishop, our Pastor Reverend Father Paul C. Helwig, our parish school and children, and to the people of Good Shepherd Parish. We as a council supply manpower for parish activities and hold fundraising events to benefit our parish community.

French Toast Breakfast 2012

Thank You!

Thank you to the Brother Knights who worked at the French Toast Breakfast sponsored by the Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council 10685 on March 31, 2012. One hundred nine tickets were sold. Patrons enjoyed a hearty breakfast of two slices of French toast, two sausage patties, orange juice, and coffee. The proceeds of $300 will be given to Cub Scout Pack 197 and Boy Scout Troop 58. Special thanks to Knight Harvey Letterman who chaired the event.

Easter Egg Hunt 2012

Thank you to the Brother Knights who helped with the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council 10685 on March 31, 2012. Approximately 100 children searched the lawn near the Parish Hall for candy. The Easter Bunny greeted the children before and after the hunt.

Volunteers Needed!

Monte Carlo night at Trinity High School on April 14

The Grand Knight has received a request asking for members of Knights of Columbus Council 10685 to help out in the casino for the April 14 Spring Social at Trinity High School. They are in need of people to act as dealers at the BlackJack and/or Roulette tables for the Monte Carlo event on Saturday night, April 14. Please contact Marty Carr (732-2041) to volunteer.

 

7th Annual Italian Dinner

Thank You!

The 7th Annual Italian Dinner, sponsored by the Good Shepherd Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and the Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council 10685, was held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, in the Good Shepherd Parish Hall. More than 180 dinners were served. Thank you to Father Helwig for his support. Thank you to the members of the parish Youth Groups, the 7th and 8th graders, and students from Trinity High School who were the wait staff and helped clean up on Saturday night. You did an excellent job taking care of the diners. Thank you to Ed Kaminsky who provided the great live entertainment for the evening by playing his accordion. Thank you to the members of the CCW and the Knights of Columbus who sold the meal tickets, sold the Italian basket raffle tickets and the 50/50 tickets, purchased the food and decorations, prepared the food on Friday and Saturday, served the food on Saturday, washed the dishes and cleaned up after dinner on Saturday. Thank you to the parishioners who supported the dinner this year.
